Estimated geographic position
At Climendo we try to show you relevant nearby locations, so you do not need to search for them yourself. We do that by analyzing your IP-address.
The categories of personal data we process are:

- A rough estimate of your geographical location
Comment: The positioning is approximate and can also yield incorrect estimates, for example if you browse over a mobile network.
Storage period: We do not store your IP-adress or approximate geographical location. The information is only processed on our servers when you visit Climendo.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest. By estimating your geographical location, we can quickly provide you with the right forecast and thus a better user experience.
Geographic position
On your own initative you can allow us to access your precise location (via your browser) so that we can serve you a forecast for your location.

Comment: You decide your self, via a prompt your browser show, if you want to share your position.
Storage period: We do not store your geographical location. The information is only processed on our servers in order to deliver the web page to you.

Web statistics
We use Google Analytics to understand how our visitors use our services and what technical platforms they use. Google Analytics anonymizes your IP address and we are unable to identify individuals.

Technical log data
When you visit our site, we log technical connection data for period of time to ensure that our services work properly and that no malicious activities are taking place.

Storage period: Logs are usually saved for 7 days. In case of technical troubleshooting or suspicion of abuse or malicious activities, we may temporarily save our logs longer, but no longer than necessary.
